Amazing Places to Travel
Grand Canyon, Arizona
The Grand Canyon is the perfect location for an outdoor adventure with your friends. You are bound to have a great time with the area’s opportunities to explore the nature site like hiking, horseback riding, swimming, and much more. These activities certainly make exercising loads more fun.
In addition, the Grand Canyon National Park has several camping spots that many travelers enjoy. Tuweep Campground and the North Rim Campground are ideal areas to experience camping.

And of course, the fantastic scenery here is definitely worth mentioning. These layers of red rock just so happen to be a UNESCO World Heritage site that’s been around for approximately 6 million years. So while the pictures of the Grand Canyon are beautiful, it’s nothing like experiencing it in person.
Machu Picchu, Peru
Located in the gorgeous Andes mountains, over 7,000 ft above sea level, lies the Inca Ruins, Macchu Picchu. Hiking the famous Inca Trail and exploring these ruins presents an excellent opportunity to bond with your closest friends. And not to mention, this will be an unforgettable memory that your squad will be telling for years to come.
While Macchu Picchu is in great condition, researchers still aren’t sure what it was created for, which gives the whole spot some added mystery.
Even more of a mystery is the stunning architecture of the citadel. The Incans built the entirety of this site without using mortal AND at such a high altitude. When put into perspective, Macchu Picchu is quite an achievement and certainly worth the visit!
Los Cabos, Mexico
If you’re looking for beach fun with your friends, then Los Cabos, Mexico, is your place. With miles and miles of sandy white beaches and near-perfect weather, Los Cabos is an excellent pick for a summer vacation (or anytime, as the weather is pleasant all year round).
Besides lying around on the beach, travelers enjoy watersports like scuba-diving and snorkeling. And if you happen to be visiting from December to April, you can admire the vast whales on a whale-watching tour.
And you don’t want to miss the nightlife! Los Cabos has some of the best nightclubs; you can expect tourists and locals alike to fill the clubs and bars.
Great Barrier Reef, Australia
Next on the list of amazing places to travel with your besties is the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. As a UNESCO World Heritage site, it has been and continues to be a dream destination for many travelers. But why?
Visiting the Great Barrier Reef is an opportunity to see some of the ocean’s top treasures up close and personal. The area is the world’s largest coral reef system and home to roughly a third of the world’s marine life. Snorkeling and scuba diving are among the best ways to explore these reefs and all the life happening below the surface.

Besides all the outdoor activities, this destination is perfect for a drive! The Pacific Coast Highway is the main road through the area and has some of the best scenic views. I highly recommend going on a scenic drive if you find yourself in the area!
Great Smoky Mountains, Tennessee
Closer to where I grew up is the Great Smoky Mountains. And let me tell you, they are great!
The Smoky Mountains offer many outdoor activities, from hiking, fishing, camping, horseback riding, and much more. There is truly something for everyone, making it an excellent location for families. Or even better for friend getaways.
The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is free to enter, so it’s a beautiful place for those traveling on a budget. And with over 850 miles of trails, you’ll be busy for a minute!
The park is also full of beautiful waterfalls like Ramsey Cascades, Abrams Falls, and Rainbow Falls.
