Take a Stroll Down Music Row
As the capital of the country music world, Nashville does not disappoint on the entertainment. Located in downtown Nashville is Music Row, one of the city’s most famous streets. Music Row is home to record label offices, radio stations, and recording studios. This street is a must-see for any music lover!
Visit the National Museum of African American Music
The city of Nashville has much more than country music to offer. The National Museum of African American Music recently opened in 2020 shows the influence of African American people on more than 50 genres of music like country, pop, and hip-hop. Visit the National Museum of African American music to experience the music city to the fullest!
Get a Taste of Greece
Before Nashville got its reputation for music, it was known for its numerous higher education institutions, earning the nickname, “Athens of the South.” To add to the nickname, a replica of the Parthenon in Athens was built in Nashville during the early nineties. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to experience a little taste of Greece!

Day 2
Shop Around Nashville’s Farmers’ Market
In a large city like Nashville, there are several farmer’s markets within the area. However, if it’s your first time in Nashville, the Nashville Farmers’ Market is the one I suggest trying. Unlike traditional farmers’ markets, this one is open every day of the week! At this lively market, you can spend some time exploring the local foods, produce, crafts, and classes.
Visit the Murals Around Town
Did you go if you don’t take any photos? Make sure to get your Instagram-worthy photos by checking out the murals spread around the city. Try out these locations for your Nashville trip photo op.

- One trip to Nashville and you’ll quickly realize the fascination with hot chicken. While several restaurants claim to have Nashville Hot Chicken, don’t buy it from just anywhere. Hattie B’s Hot Chicken, located in East Nashville, is one of the best joints to try some of Nashville’s famous Hot Chicken.
- Joy’s House of Pizza
- Joey’s House of Pizza brings a bit of the Big Apple down to the South. If you’ve got a taste for authentic New York pizza, Joey’s House is the spot!
- The Pharmacy Burger
- Known as Nashville’s “Wurst-Burger” joint, the Pharmacy Burger serves yummy burgers and sausages and offers their guests a blast from the past with their old-timey soda fountain. The Pharmacy Burger is an experience you don’t want to miss.
- The Cupcake Collection
- The Nashville eatery list wouldn’t be complete without sweets! This black-owned cupcake shop will have you craving their sweet potato cupcake in the dead of night! But they close at 3:30 pm Sunday-Friday, so be sure to get there early.
